Friday Finds: Fall Accessories Under $20

I think it's safe to say that most of us have fall on the brain. With that being said, I decided to put together some budget friendly fall accessories that are all under $20! I don't know about you, but I am loving jewel tones and leopard prints for the upcoming season. Also, I am excited to share this bow cuff with those of you that missed on the Target version a while back. And did you notice the scalloped ring that is a dead ringer for this Kate Spade one, but at a fraction of the price? Who doesn't love a good look for less?!

Happy Thursday! Are you looking forward to the long weekend? We know we are! But before you're off enjoying the end of summer holiday, don't forget to link up your blogs and meet some new blog buddies! Thank you to everyone who linked up with us last week. It is always a challenge choosing only three to feature. We can't wait to see everyone's posts this week! Hope you have a great weekend!

Meet this week's featured three...

You know we love leopard, especially the leopard pumps from Target. Jaqueline of Stylin in St. Louis styled hers with white denim, chambray and a bright orange sweater. We love how vivid this outfit is with the orange and leopard paired against the white.

Kate of Kate Styled Pretty looks absolutely stunning in this red maxi dress. We love the color and think we just might need to find a ball to attend so we can get this fab dress!

Lauren of Fizz and Frosting couldn't hold out any longer and put together this perfect fall outfit! The peter pan collar tee is on our wishlist, and we love how she paired it with a burgundy pencil skirt and leopard heels. Great outfit for work!

Link up for your chance to be one of the featured three next week!

Mosaic Stripes

I recently wore this mosaic striped dress that I scored during the Loft $25 off sale to church and then out to lunch with the in-laws.  I love that this dress is comfy and that the colors in it will make it easily transition into fall. I am already envisioning wearing this dress with a navy blazer and some riding boots once fall rolls around and perhaps I'll have a pumpkin spice latte too!

Dress: Loft | Flats: J.Crew Factory | Bag: Louis Vuitton | Necklace: Very Jane (option) | Bracelets: Kate Spade | Earrings: J.Crew Factory | Sunglasses: Anthropologie

Did you purchase any dresses during the Loft sale?

Dress Code

I survived my first day back to school and am happy to report that it went surprisingly well! I can't wait to see what this year has in store. However, now that school is officially back in session it's time to say goodbye to my easy-going summer wardrobe. One of my favorite things during breaks from work is that I am able to wear whatever I want and do not have to adhere to a dress code. Don't get me wrong, I think dress codes are appropriate for the workplace, but some days you just feel like throwing on a pair of comfy boyfriend jeans. Anyway, today I wanted to share one of my most recent summer outfits with you. I am loving my adorable new bow bracelet that Crave Boutique sent over. By the way, have you entered the Crave Boutique Giveaway for your chance to win a bracelet of your choice?

Sweater: J.Crew Factory (option) | Shorts: Old Navy (option) | Sandals: Tory Burch | Bag: Kate Spade (option) | Bracelet: Crave Boutique | Bow Bracelet: c/o Crave Boutique | Necklace: c/o Papa East | Initial Ring: c/o Crave Boutique | Earrings: J.Crew Factory | Sunglasses: Ray Ban

What type of dress code do you have to adhere to at work?

Crave Boutique Giveaway

Today is the first day of school! I still get a little anxious every year, just like I did when I was a kid. I have had my outfit picked out for several days now to alleviate some stress this morning and plan to treat myself to Starbucks on my way to school! I will be back with a recap of my first day back later this week. But for now, I wanted to share an outfit I wore to run around with the hubs doing last minute errands. I decided to pair one of my favorite chambray shirts, yes I have several, with white denim and my new bubble necklace from Crave Boutique. I love that this necklace has an ombre effect unlike many of the others I have seen. You will also notice that my gold ball bracelet has been on repeat quite a bit since I purchased it which is why Crave Boutique has decided to do a bracelet giveaway where one lucky reader will get to select the bracelet of their choice!! To enter the giveaway, simply use the Rafflecopter below!

Chambray: Joe Fresh | Denim: J.Crew Factory | Wedges: Franco Sarto | Clutch: c/o EcoShag | Necklace: c/o Crave Boutique | Watch: Fossil (option) | Bracelet: Crave Boutique | Earrings: J.Crew Factory | Initial Ring c/o Crave Boutique

Spotted

Happy Friday! In lieu of my usual Friday Finds, I decided to share my outfit that I wore to church this past Sunday since I had requests to post details on the blog. Don't worry though, Friday Finds will be back next week! So, I snagged this spotted skirt and bow belt from the Kate Spade Outlet that I recently discovered was only an hour away from me!! I don't know how in the world it is possible that I didn't know about it being there, but either way I am so thrilled I know now. Anyway, back to this skirt and belt, I love the classic A-line shape of this skirt and have a feeling you will be seeing a lot more of it this fall/winter. And the red bow belt adds a fun pop of color, plus who could resist the bow?

Skirt: Kate Spade (exact) | Chambray: Old Navy | Heels: Urban Outfitters (option) | Bag: Kate Spade (option) | Belt: Kate Spade (option) | Sunglasses: Anthropologie | Bangles: Kate Spade | Bracelets: Shop Crave and c/o Shop Crave  | Watch: Fossil (option) | Earrings: J.Crew Factory | Ring: Kate Spade (option)

Have a great weekend! And thanks for reading!

Meet this week's featured three...

We love how Meg of Everyday Meg paired citron with cobalt for a bright, classic look! And who doesn't love a pop of leopard?

It's no secret that we love stripes, so naturally we're swooning over this fabulous skirt worn by Julie of Obsessed. And how adorable is it paired with chambray and her beaded rose necklace?

Ainslee of A Beautiful Heart looks darling in black and pink, which is always such a fun combo! And that bag is perfection.

Another Year...

I can't believe it's already almost the end of August, it seems like it was only yesterday that I was celebrating my 30th birthday with family and friends, but somehow another year has gone by. This is a busy week for all of us teachers since we are back to work full time and preparing for the first day of school which is next week! With that being said, I am looking forward to a nice, quite evening out with my hubby to celebrate my birthday. I will be wearing my new Kate Spade dress along with a gorgeous blue statement necklace from Viva La Jewels for dinner at one of our favorite little restaurants where they have the most amazing Oscar Filet! Just thinking about it has my mouth watering.

Dress: Kate Spade (exact) | Heels: DSW | Clutch: c/o Pink Slate | Necklace: c/o Viva La Jewels | Bangles: Kate Spade | Earrings: J.Crew Factory | Sunglasses: Anthropologie

I must say that my Viva La Jewels necklace is the perfect match for my new dress! And I am loving that this necklace is lightweight unlike so many other statement necklaces I have. Also, Happy Birthday to those of you that are my birthday twins, I hope you have a fabulous day!

How We Wear: Leopard Pumps

It is time for another "How We Wear" collaboration with Renee of Style with a Story and Meghan of Everyday Fashion and Finance! Today, we are bringing you three ways to style leopard pumps. Leopard pumps are a must-have item for fall! As soon as we heard that Target had them in stores, all three of us ran (probably literally) to buy them! Let us tell you a little bit about these pumps: 1. We love the chunky heel, 2. They remind us of the much more expensive J.Crew Etta Pumps, and 3. They are actually comfortable. I know the three of us will have these pumps on major repeat all season long! Not sure how versatile leopard print pumps will be? Don't be afraid of the print - consider it a "neutral" this fall.  They will go with more than you think! Check out three different ways we've styled them below.
Renee paired her pumps with a classic jacket, denim and pops of orange. She also added a leopard scarf for a polished fall look. Meghan chose to pair her pumps with boyfriend jeans and a simple black tee. She also dressed it up a little with gold accessories which would be perfect for a happy hour with the girls. I transitioned from summer to fall by pairing my pumps with white pants and orange accessories. I also did some pattern mixing by choosing a gingham top to wear with the leopard. To see more of Renee and Meghan's looks, head on over to their blogs!
Shirt: Old Navy (option) | Denim: J.Crew Factory | Heels: Target | Bag: c/o Lulu's | Necklace: Amazon (option) | Watch: Fossil (option) | Bracelets: Shop Crave, Kate Spade | Earrings: J.Crew Factory | Initial Ring: c/o Shop Crave

What are your go-to pumps for fall?
How else would you wear these leopard pumps?

HBunnie Creations Giveaway

Hello loves, today marks the end of summer break and I have mixed emotions about school starting back up. On on hand, I am super excited to start my new job and meet my students, but on the other I am sad to not be able to spend my days at home with my boxer babies anymore. I know once I get back into the swing of things it will be great, but this week may be a little rough.

Anyway, this past weekend I decided to dress up for date night with the hubby since I knew my HBunnie jewels would be a fun addition to this dress! I love that these pieces are so versatile with the clear crystal and chunky gold chain. I am finding that they are perfect for layering or worn as stand alone pieces and I am sure you will be seeing a lot more of this necklace once fall rolls around! Since I love my bunnies so much, HBunnie Creations has decided to give this necklace away to one lucky reader! To enter the giveaway, simply use the Rafflecopter below!

Friday Finds: Fashionable Coats

I didn't purchase a new coat last fall, so I felt it was time to do a little updating this go around. I realize it is still a bit early to be shopping for a fall/winter coat, however, the early bird gets the worm and I did not want to miss out on this year's latest fashionable coats. If you follow along on Instagram, you probably saw that I recently purchased this Collarless Asymmetric Tweed Coat shown in the middle of the top row below. I wish I could take credit for finding this little beauty, but I have Jessica of Bows and Sequins to thank for that. Now, I just have to patiently wait for it to arrive and hope that it fits well! Below are a few more of my faves, all of which are available at OASAP. Also, if it is your first time to place an order with OASAP be sure to use their provided code for 20% off!

Three-fer Thursday Link Up

Happy Thursday! As always, thank you to those who linked up with us last week. We are so excited that the link up continues to grow, and we love seeing everyone's posts each week. Also, fall fashion is starting to peek its way in, and it is so much fun to see how everyone is starting to transition into the new season! Now, it's time to get linked up and go meet some new blog buddies!

Meet this week's featured three...

Lindsey of Follow the Ruels paired a flattering navy peplum top with orange cropped pants and a statement necklace. Such a great transition from the bright colors of summer to the darker colors of fall!

As you know, we are both big fans of polka dot skirts, and we love how Tiny Bits of Nonsense paired hers with a yellow top! And how great is that Michael Kors bag? Swoon.

Jessica of Love Love Love is ready for fall in her new favorite vest. We must say, we are ready too, and this vest just made its way onto our must-have list! We love the military style and gem detail, plus it's only $15! Say what?!
