Pink Slate Boutique Giveaway!

I must confess that I normally wear the same pair of stud earrings on a daily basis, partly since I am a creature of habit and the other part being that I don't particularly enjoy wearing heavy earrings. So, when I received these fabulous statement earrings from Pink Slate Boutique I was pleasantly surprised to find that they weren't very heavy plus I love the pink and navy combo! In fact, my outfit today was inspired by these earrings since I loved the color combination so much. It was so easy to throw on a bright pink sweater with my navy boyfriend blazer and head out the door. Since I love my Pink Slate Boutique earrings and blazer so much, they have generously decided to give away a $25 store credit to not one, but two lucky readers! And for those of you who can't wait to shop, you can use the code PERFECTLYCOUTURED for 20% off of your entire order!! To enter the giveaway, simply use the Rafflecopter below. Good luck!

Polka Dots and Bows

I decided to take advantage of the warmer temps and wear my polka dot skirt with my new green heels which was inspired by this post. I have been eying these pumps ever since they came out, but couldn't justify the price since I don't wear heels that often. So, when a friend on Instagram shared this look for less pair, I knew I had to have them and she was sweet enough to send me a pair! And yes, I also bought the nude pair too. How could I resist when I was able to get two pair for less than the price of one?!

Chambray: Old Navy (option) | Skirt: Target | Heels: Betsey Johnson via Marshalls (option) | Bag: Tory Burch | Sunglasses: Anthropologie | Necklace: Very Jane (option) | Watch: Fossil (option) | Bangles: Kate Spade | Ring: Kate Spade (option) | Earrings: J.Crew Factory

Saturday Steals under $22

Good morning, darlings! It has already been a busy weekend for us and yes I realize it has only just begun. Even though I am not able to relax and enjoy my morning chai while browsing deals, hopefully you are able to do so which is why I wanted to share these Saturday steals from Groopdealz which are all under $22. It is not secret that I am a fan of polka dots and bows (see yesterday's post on bows here) so I couldn't resist sharing such an amazing deal on this enamel bow necklace! And with a price of just $3.99, why not get several colors? I am also loving this polka dot midi skirt ( available in burgundy too) which looks adorable styled with a peplum top as shown, but would also look fabulous paired with this hot pink button down shirt or perhaps a sweater and booties for a crisp fall day!

Bows from Head to Toe

You might have already noticed that I have a slight obsession with bows. I'm not exactly sure when this obsession started, but there is just something about the daintiness of a bow that draws me in every time. I love that they are so girly and preppy and am not complaining one bit about all of the new styles featuring bows that are popping up in stores this season! One of my favorite classic bow finds would have to be my Emery flats which I happen to own in three colors and wear nonstop. And I must say that I wouldn't be disappointed if J.Crew decided to put out a red pair too! Recently, I added this bow sweater into the mix which will be perfect this winter layered up with these flats or boots! Here are a few more bow items that caught my eye recently.

Bows from Head to Toe
Striped Sweater | Grey Sweater | Ivory Sweater | Grey Hat | Red Hat | Black Hat | Black Pumps | Burgandy Pumps | Nude Pumps | Nude Gloves | Red Gloves | Black Gloves

Are you as big a fan of bows as a I am?
Which of these items would you purchase?

Blackout

I must confess that in the past I rarely ever wore tights/hose due to them often being uncomfortable and instead would opt for bare legs and end up freezing during this time of year. So today, I am happy to report that I have found a pair of tights I will actually wear! Hanes Hosiery  sent over these blackout tights which fit perfectly and even have a control top which adds a slimming effect too! I honestly didn't even notice that I was wearing then other than the fact that they felt silky smooth and kept my legs warm. They also sent over this silky sheer option which would be perfect for a dressier event!  Along with the tights, I also tried out several other Hanes items including their comfort soft socks which are incredibly soft and just the right height to wear with your booties this season.

Cardigan: New York & Co | Shirt: New York & Co | Skirt: Kate Spade | Tights: c/o Hanes | Heels: Urban Oufitters (option) | Bag: Kate Spade (option) | Bangles: Kate Spade | Earrings: J.Crew Factory | Ring: Kate Spade (option)

What are your favorite tights to wear?
Have you tried the Hanes blackout tights?

Blazer Debut

During a recent sale in which I was able to use an extra coupon on top of, I decided to finally snag this blazer from Factory that I had been eying. In the past, I wasn't a huge fan of blazers since I felt like they all looked boxy on me, but since finding this one and these from Target my love for blazers has grown tremendously! I think I am going to love sporting my blazers this winter especially since I don't really like wearing coats too much. For my first blazer debut, I decided to wear my trusty riding boots along with this look for less jeweled collar shirt!

Blazer: J.Crew Factory (similar for less) | Shirt: Kohl's | Denim: Loft | Boots: Tory Burch (option) | Bag: Tory Burch | Watch: Fossil (option) | Bangles: Kate Spade | Ring: Kate Spade (option) | Earrings: J.Crew Factory

Here are a few more blazers that I am currently loving.

Boot Weather

One of the many joys of living in Texas is that it often doesn't get cooler until November (insert sad face). With that being said, I have been refraining from breaking out my riding boots for as long as possible, but I am afraid I cannot wait any longer! So regardless of the weather I will be wearing my beloved boots. My sweet hubby tracked down this pair for me last year for Christmas and they are my all-time faves! So, for my first look wearing riding boots this season I decided that plaid and a puffer vest would be fitting. I am also wearing a fun red necklace from The Jewelry Lady to add a little glam which will make a great statement piece for the upcoming holidays too! You can browse other jewelry styles here and use the code PERFCOUT10 for 10% off of your order until October 27th!

Janelle of Janelle In Real Life brightened up her oh so cozy look with a chunky red scarf and some lipstick to match. Doesn't she look gorgeous in that shade of red? We are thinking we might have to give red lipstick a try too!

Rachelle of Pink Sole perfected the art of print mixing by pairing stripes and polka dots in this look. We love how she stuck with shades of blue and white and then added in those fabulous metallic heels!

I have been loving the black and white trend this season and have always been a fan of stripes so this sweater cardigan from Lulu's was a must have! This sweater will be perfect for running errands and grabbing lunch on a crisp day. Since I couldn't wait to wear it, this time I threw on my sweater with a plain white tee and added some gold accessories into the mix for an easy casual chic look. I also plan to pair this sweater with my new boots and chambray as soon as it's a little cooler out!

Sweater: c/o Lulu's | Tee: Target | Denim: Loft | Flats: DSW | Bag: Kate Spade (option) | Necklace: c/o Mint Sugar Boutique | Watch: Fossil (option) | Bracelet: Forever 21 | Ring: Kate Spade (option) | Earrings: J.Crew Factory

I am swooning over these black and white looks from Lulu's latest fall lookbook which is filled with striped crop tops, leather skirts, booties, sweaters, and much more. You can shop the lookbook here!
