Modest Stripes

I love skirts, but always have a hard time finding ones that I feel are long enough and I'm not even that tall! I can't even begin to tell you how many adorable skirts and dresses I have had to pass up that were too short (insert sad face). So, when Modest Lady Boutique sent over this striped number I was beyond thrilled that it was the perfect length. And the classic black and white stripes make this skirt super versatile which will undoubtedly make it a staple in my wardrobe. I also love the fact that it could be worn year-round since it would also be cute paired with tights and boots in the cooler months. Do you have a hard time finding skirts that are an appropriate length too?

  1. Love the combination! I recently bought a black and white striped skirt maybe I could copy this look but with a different colored top. ;)

  13. I, too, tend to avoid skirts out of fear of their being too short. Pants are just much safer for my job! That being said, I totally love everything about this outfit! Green and leopard is one of my favorite combinations, and the classy skirt and necklace make the outfit completely gorgeous.

  34. Skirts are tricky for me as well…esp. being a short girl! I love that skirt on you…off to check it out!

  35. Thank you, Tammy! I hate that they have to make them so short or in your case possibly too long. They need to come in varying lengths just like jeans do!
