Spring Break in Paris

As many of you already know, the hubby and I spent spring break in Paris to celebrate our fifth anniversary. For our stay, we rented out an apartment in Le Marais which was recommended by my sweet friend Jenn of The Brandied Pear. Even though the apartment was small and on the sixth floor with no lift (hello stair master workout) we adored its character and authentic Parisian feel. We loved the neighborhood and its abundance of cafes and pastry shops. And of course while in Paris we hit up all of the major tourist spots. Here a just a few snapshots from our trip. The only unpleasant thing I can say about our vacation is that I ended up with bronchitis and food poisoning right after returning home so needless to say it has been quite the miserable week.

Have you ever been to Paris, if so what are some of your favorite spots?

  1. oh my gosh, love the photo of Shakespeare and Company - I have read a couple of books about Sylvia, the original owner and all the authors that were in and out of there!

Such great pictures - thank you so much for sharing. I went there as a poor college student and didn't experience as I would really like to. I would love to go back and enjoy some things I was not able to afford as a college student.
