Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and found lots of deals if you braved the Black Friday crowds. I actually don't do much shopping on Black Friday since we are usually traveling to go to our second Thanksgiving with the in-laws that day. Anyway, I am excited to share this plaid quilted jacket with you all today! I absolutely love the print of it and decided to double up on plaid for today's look with my favorite new blanket scarf. You can also check out other Joules items that I have styled here and here.

  7. Oh the jacket is a great find. I just ordered a tunic from LOFT in that same plaid - it's the perfect plaid second to the traditional tartan reds! And that scarf has my heart!

  11. Hi Bethany!
What a really wonderful outfit, just adorable! I love the combination of the colours and of the two plaid patterns, and the jacket looks so cosy - perfect for autumn! Your Hunter boots are a real eye-catcher, in great harmony with the rest of the outfit. And they fit an become you so well!
If I might ask you a question: How do you get your jeans so nicely and firm into your boots, do you have a trick to tuck them in? Do you wear your Hunters also to work?

  12. Thank you for the good advice, that's very kind of you! This seems obvious to be a very good solution - I will give it a try right away as I also like to wear slim/straight cut jeans with/into boots instead of skinnies. Do you recommend this also for wearing jeans with boots with a zipper?
I know, Hunters are a bit limited in comfort for Indoor use over a longer period of time (presuming that you work indoor ;-). As much as I like it to wear them on my way to work, after arriving at my office, I change them to more indoor-like shoes (I have bailed some at the office or take some with my if the other ones will not fit to my outfit). But during bad weather I won't resign wearing my Hunters ;-). Of course it depends whether you are traverlling to work by public transport and have to walk a relevant distanca as I have to. It would be a pity if you could not show this kind of wonderful outift with these excellent boots to the public on working days ;-).
    Greetings

  15. You're welcome! Oh, these are great too for real cold days - if the size is right for you and the socks will fit well. I prefer the sheepskin insoles for the less colder days and wiht them, it's less bulky inside the boots. Some recommend to take the Boots a size larger if the adding of the boots socks is planned. Maybe they're right - I've never tried it.
Oh, and it would be a real pity if you would stop blogging. Your outfits are a great inspiration - also for fashion interested men like me - and they are all beautiful!
