Blaire of Peaches in a Pod is transitioning into spring with a classic black and white skirt. We love how she paired it with a yellow cardi for a pop of color and a leopard scarf for some print mixing.

Yuli of Sequins and Tulle nailed it with this floral skirt. It is absolutely perfect for spring, and we love how she paired it with chambray - one of our favorite ways to style a floral print!

Danielle of For the Love of Leopard is rocking the 2014 Pantone color of the year - Radiant Orchid! Those shoes are to die for (don't miss the metallic gold heel), and you know we are a sucker for a cute Kate Spade bag.

Pop of Pink

While on the hunt for a new spring/summer bag (see my handbag post here), I came across this neon pink beauty and instantly knew it was the one I had been searching for. And I must say that photos do not do it justice, it really is a bright neon pink! Since purchasing this bag, I have found myself gravitating towards pink even more than usual and incorporating it into my looks with jewelry as well. Plus, if you haven't already, head on over to Instagram where I have teamed up with three other fabulous ladies to give away the smaller version of this bag!

A Few of My Favorites...on Sale!

Since I'm sure you love a good sale just as much as I do, I decided to round up a few of my favorite items that are currently on sale. My spring wardrobe is in a need of a little sprucing up and I am loving that these items are on sale which means my dollar will stretch a little bit further! I rarely ever pay full price for any clothing items unless it is an absolute must-have or an item that I know will sell out quickly. What about you, how do you make the most of your shopping budget?

My Favorite Items on Sale

1. This necklace is perfect for adding a pop of color to your look, plus it makes such a great statement.

2.  Polka Dots need I say more?! I actually already picked this little number up and can't wait to style it!

3. These floral print shorts are so vibrant and fun. The styling possibilities would be endless....chambray, coral, teal, lavender, etc.

4.  Chambray is an absolute staple in any wardrobe. I literally have four different chambray shirts and still feel like I could add a few more since I wear them non-stop!

5. I am obsessed with pink for the spring/summer and think this little clutch bag is just darling. It is the perfect shade of pink and of course I adore the bow too.

6.  Bows on the toes is always a win in my book. Pair these beauties with a fun dress for a night out or with a pair of boyfriend jeans and a statement necklace for a snappy casual look.

7. This bangle is adorable with the all of the little bow-ties, plus with it being classic black & white it is sure to fit right in with your arm party.

8. Espadrilles are spring/summer must-have, they seriously go with everything! And I find them to be more comfy too. Also loving this look for less pair!

9. Sunglasses are a necessity, and it is always a good idea to have a nice back-up pair.  I love the shape of these and the striped detail as well.

10. Eyelet is always such a spring classic and the color of this mini skirt is perfection.

Neutral Dots

We have had the most beautiful weather lately. And while I am excited for the spring-like temps, I will be sad to part with some of my winter favorites. However, with the mornings being cooler I was able to get at least one more wear out my riding boots and blazer which paired nicely with this tunic from Kiki La'Rue. Be sure to check them out for more blouses and lightweight sweaters that are perfect for the transition into spring.

Friday Finds: Spring Handbags

With only a few weeks left until the official start of spring, now is the time to start shopping for a new handbag. I am loving all of the bright colors this year, especially the neon pink and minty blue hues. In fact, I caved a couple of weeks ago and purchased the medium version of this neon pink tote and must admit that I am sort of obsessed with it. Since everyone needs a new bag or perhaps even two, I decided to put together a few of my favorite spring handbags at every price point. I am swooning over this scalloped beauty along with this fabulous carryall bag. How do you feel about brightly colored handbags?

Neutral Leopard

Today, I decided to pair my favorite leopard shirt with neutral accessories for a toned down look. This shirt has to be one of my favorites since it is so versatile (also worn here). If you are not a fan of busy prints, I would suggest easing into it by layering it with a blazer or cardigan for a more subtle look.

Plaid and Leopard

These plaid skimmers have become a favorite of mine this season. The variety of colors lends to easy styling, but I personally love them paired with red. I opted to complete the look with black bow heels and my leopard clutch, which is the perfect neutral accessory! I am ready for spring, but will certainly be sad to see all of my plaid tucked away until next winter.

Tartan

We were hit with another cold weather spell recently and even had a few snow flurries. So, I figured it was a good time to break out my favorite tartan scarf. I have found this scarf to be so versatile and have worn it countless times this winter. Don't you just love winter accessories? Although, I must say that I am ready for the weather to stay one temp or the other since mother nature has been a bit bi-polar here lately!

Office Makeover

I often get on a whim and decide I want to change things (much to my husband's disliking). Last summer it was our master bedroom for example, but this time around I decided I wanted to spruce up our my home office. I blame it on all of the gold polka dot walls I had been seeing on Pinterest and Instagram! So, I decided to put together an inspiration board and ask for "permission" to have my very own polka dot wall and much to my surprise he said yes without any hesitation!

Office Makeover

For our office update, I stuck with the key furniture pieces we already had (except for the purchase of the IKEA expedit shelf) and just opted to add some fun accessories to keep the costs to a minimum. We previously had a chocolate accent wall so the hubs had to re-paint it khaki to prep for the polka dotting. I will admit that putting up these gold dots was not easy at first and may have resulted in unwanted behavior! LOL. We ended up purchasing a laser level which got the ball rolling and then it was all down hill from there. If you decide to do your own dot wall, I highly recommend getting one. So, without further adieu here is a little peek into our home office.

Desk: Pottery Barn (option) | Chair: Home Goods (option) | 8" Gold Dot Decals: Wall Decal World

While shopping for new desk accessories (see my post here), I fell in love with Jenny Bevlin's shop. I am obsessed with absolutely everything in her shop...the prints, the cards, and the gift wrap! I have quite a few items from her already and will definitely be adding more to my office stash. I can't wait to see what she will design next.

Saturday Steals from Groopdealz

Good morning, darlings! I am excited to share today's Saturday steals from GroopDealz. I am loving this fan fringe pendant necklace (in both colors) which is perfect for making a fun statement without weighing you down. This heart sweater is one of the cutest I have seen, but without a hefty price tag! And how fabulous are these metallic dot scarves? They are lightweight which makes them the perfect transition piece from winter to spring. Plus, with a price of only $5.99 you could afford to get several colors. Happy shopping!
